How to Step up To Excellence in SellingTM with Warren Wechsler
This is an example of how Warren blends his sales consulting and sales training practices together to add the maximum value to his clients' businesses.

Step One: Establishing the Excellence in SellingTM Environment

Half day to one day meeting (face to face or phone to phone) with Warren and key executives, sales managers, business development specialists and other key people to accomplish the following:
  • Assess the current strengths and weaknesses of the current sales people
  • Assess the current sales approach including prospects identified, prospects contacted and prospects in the funnel
  • Ensuring that the sales people are doing all they can to retain current clients
  • Find out how the sales people are growing their accounts
  • Determine the effectiveness of current referral campaigns
  • Establish what sales statistics to be measured on an ongoing basis
  • Design sales management tracking and sales measurement tools
  • Evaluate compensation and incentive programs
Step Two: The Six Steps to Excellence in SellingTM Seminar

Based on the principles outlined in his best selling book, The Six Steps to Excellence in Selling, Warren leads this half day to one day, hands-on seminar that includes practical and immediately useful ideas on strategic sales planning, prospecting campaigns, account pre-planning, first call strategies, questioning and listening skills, referral prospecting approaches, current client contact programs, appointment setting, presentation skills, and asking for and receiving the commitment. Each participant develops a written, concise and measurable action plan.

In the expanded, two day program, advanced selling skills, key objections, major account planning, and time and territory management are also addressed. Each participant creates and completes a personal strategic sales plan, insuring that each person completes the seminar with an entire game plan for accomplishing their selling goals.


Step Three: Creating Excellence in SellingTM Individuals

Warren works for one full business day, one on one, with individual sales people and sales managers for approximately one hour per person, on a confidential basis, to assess their current situation, make suggestions and establish a measurable, trackable action step.

At the close of this day, Warren meets with key executives and sales managers to offer a "broad brush view" of what is working well, what needs work, and then he coaches sales management to create the proper environment for follow through to maximize the work done by each individual during their one on one meetings.

Approximately ten days after the one on one meetings, Warren follows up by phone, fax, voice mail and / or email with selected individuals to inspire and guide further.
